What is the Daily Nonogram?

The Daily Nonogram is a fresh picture logic puzzle published every day at midnight UTC. Each puzzle is uniquely numbered from launch, creating a persistent timeline you can track and share. Grid sizes range from 10×10 to 15×15 depending on difficulty.

Your streak counter tracks consecutive days completed. Unlike practice mode, each daily is a shared experience—everyone solves the same puzzle on the same day.

Difficulty by Weekday

Daily Nonograms follow a progressive difficulty curve throughout the week, gradually increasing in complexity before resetting:

How to Play

Nonograms (also called Picross or Griddlers) use row and column clues to reveal a hidden picture. Each number tells you how many consecutive filled cells appear in that line. For example, "3 1 2" means three filled, then at least one empty, then one filled, then at least one empty, then two filled.

Start with overlap: when a group is large relative to line length, some cells are forced. For example, "7" in a 10-cell row must fill cells 4, 5, 6, and 7. Once you mark cells, use them as anchors—they limit where groups can fit in intersecting lines. Alternate between rows and columns.

Click or tap to fill a cell. Click again to mark it crossed-out (X). Use drag-paint to fill multiple cells along a row or column—the interface locks to one axis for precision.

Progress saves locally using IndexedDB—no account needed. The timer pauses when you switch tabs. Solve consecutive dailies to build your streak. Past dailies remain playable forever.
